Politics and Economics in Latin America - 1800s
The semi governmental and economic home in many countries in Latin American is today incredibly similar to how it was hundreds of geezerhood ago. G all overnment formaliseds manipulate laws and regulations and smear their power to amend themselves without providing the citizens with a stable and thriving nation. This ongoing extortion of the system and lack of nationalism is what brought me to write about these devil documents. Since I grew up in Latin America, I found turn over always witnessed how people enrich themselves by becoming a political representative and how the citizens do not react since there is not a spirit of belonging to a nation. both of these documents highlight the problems that countries like Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela encountered with their political parties styles, and I strongly believe that if this is not exposed Latin America will double the same mistakes that were made over 200 years ago.\nThe send-off document that will be revi ewed, Bureaucratic Capitalism: Profiting from agency, was written by ii agents who were sent to the New gentleman to act like spies and pronounce the King about the decomposition that was winning place in Latin America. This report was intend to be presented to the King of Spain and his advisors in Europe to understand how their political representatives were handling all official orders and array of tribute in Peru. The first point that the authors make is that the corregidores, who were the local officials sent to Latin America to represent their monarchs, were taking advantage of the power that was delegated to them. These corregidores were profiting from the ingathering of tribute they were supposed to drive out the Indians per orders of the King. As stated on the first phrase of the document, Corregidores part many methods to enrich themselves at the expense of the Indians, and we shall start with the collection of tribute (88).
