The protege of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, was the one to coin and fixate the term pilot burner. Although he based this idea off of the Freudian concept of symbols, Jung took it a step further and put unitedly this idea of the collective unconscious. The thought that traditional expressions of collective dreams, developed over thousands of years, of symbols upon which the society as a whole has neck to depend (Morford and Lenardon, Pg. 9). One of the most known of these archetypes is of the father toss god mold. I will be using a psychological and structural approach to explaining this archetype and interpreting its heart and soul within the context of Classical Mythology and how it pertains to the Gods and their stories.
First of every, the father dispose god appears over and over in Greek Mythology alongside the earth-goddess in a number of occasions including: Uranus and Ge, Cronus and Rhea, and Zues and Hera, to bring in a few. These father sky gods, depending on the story told and the motive telling the story, are perceived as the almighty and all powerful leaders of their generations, so to speak. They often times, are represent as having superior powers to, and existence the strongest of any other god.

As Jung said, In dreams, it is always the father- underframe from whom the decisive convictions, prohibitions , and wise counsels emanate...an exacting voice which passes final judgments (The Archetypes and the Collective Unconscious by Carl Jung, pg. 214-215). This embodies the message of a father sky god as being the ruling deity, who routinely occupies the heavens. The father sky god is the vivacious personification of the logos principle.
