The thought of nursing homes ill-treating elders seemed very absurd to me. Ive unendingly thought that people treated the elderly with respect. My state of foreland changed when I found out that nursing homes tend to mistreat the elders who are residents there. Elderly people have been treated fair as badly as people who are ill-treat or neglected, if not worse. How could this be? How could anyone harm such benignant fragile people? These questions more than likely have bygone through many minds around the country. In the united States, intimately of the cry out of elderly people has come from nursing homes. The United States government is trying to pass new laws to protect the elderly, only if until then the demoralise continues. Groups have formed to help abet the laws and protect the elderly when facing this situation.
There are contrary types of abuse that the elderly face: neglect, physical, material, financial, psychological, abandonment, emotional, and sexual. Sadly, abuse occurs far excessively very much.
