The meaning of life is something that we stick out all pondered at a time in our full of lifes and every individual has a dissimilar perception of what that may be. From studying several philosophers, I present learned many diverse and interesting views of what it means to live a virtuously full(a) life. I have imbed strengths and weaknesses in each of these moral fellow feelings, while advent to my ingest realization of what it means to live a morally dandy life. Of the many philosophers, I have found Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, and Luce Irigaray to be most intriguing to me. Their moral philosophies are very different from one another, while all three are coming to an end result of happiness and their particular meaning of life.
Immanuel Kant focuses his ideas more or less the principle of duty. He says it is ones duty to be moral, and to be moral is to follow ones duty. Kant tries to formulate rules of morality or what he calls the good will that is grounded in ones reason. His categorical shrill is a moral law which humans are direct toward goodness. Kants Categorical Imperative would ask me to think of the booming rule or to act that you may will that the bearing of your act may become a universal law.



My understanding of the CI would lead me to think rationally or a reasonable explanation of how one should act, therefore determining the moral goodness or evil of an act. A weakness to this opening is that it may be too firm, not allowing for any exceptions in life or in a judicious predicament.
