In my research, I discoveredthat there are many leadership styles and most are effective if usedin the right situations. The directing leadership style would beneeded for new hires, or less effective employees that show commitmentand a desire to be productive. The employees at this development levelwould require very clear direc tions, and a lot of supervision. The melodic line must be controlled and structured until these employeesdevelop some competence.
