AE 221 .07 Final Paper No Mans shoot down I chose No Mans Land as my last subject field because I find it very successful in explaining what happened in Bosnia during the war, very objectively. It shows the war both from Serbian side and Bosnian side. Moreover, unlike the other movies concerning the wars in ex-Yugoslavia, which usually exposed the personnel scenes, in this movie black humor ,ironically, represents how war remove notion of humanity, moral, ethics in human beings, as intumesce as it ironically touches the political games hidden in this war. It as well as contains many hidden messages in each scene which critics the administration of Europe and UN. In my point of view, this war had a special place because it happened in Europe, around the 1990s, the time when we refer to the modernity. We are usually familiar with bloody war in center field East or Africa, and of course we are familiar with UN view toward these wars, always talking about democracy and human rights.
