chase after Country is an exciting detective story that takes detective Alex Cross from his comfortable home in Washington, DC to the slums of Africa. Cross’s goal is to capture the most cold-blooded and ruthless orca he has ever encountered. The killer is referred to as The Tiger. He has assembled a team of co-killers who are mere adolescents and, like him, have suddenly no value for human life. Cross is almost obsessively invested in this case because his college girlfriend, Ellie Cox, was one of the first people viciously murdered by The Tiger. As Alex Cross finds out, the problem is non finding The Tiger, but rather navigating his way through the sabotage African governments and finding a way to bring him down.
numerous people know James Patterson for his fast-paced and exciting supreme Ride books. Cross Country is every bit as good, if not better than any one of these books.
If you are a fan of intense action thrillers or shows such as CSI, NCIS, or Criminal Minds, Cross Country is a complete(a) book for you. Even if you do not enjoy such shows, Patterson’s descriptive writing style will dedicate you spell bound. However, I must warn you; this book is not for the faint of heart. It contains grotesque violence and vividly describes the horrors going on in Africa. These horrors include both the rape of poor women and children and the race murder of the African people of Darfur.
