protagonist- quadriceps
Antagonist- hamstrings
Synergist- obliques
Fixator- gluteus maximus
Agonist is where the muscles work in pairs e.g. Quads and Hamstrings. When kicking a ball, the Quads cut back to touch the leg and the Hamstring relax.
Antagonist is where one muscle relaxes to consent to faecal matter in the other muscle e.g kicking a football
Synergist- are needed to draw balance e.g. when kicking a ball we need the obliques to make sure we dresst fall over
Fixator is there to stop any unsuitable movement e.
g kicking a ball, we need the opposite gastrocnemius to workings the other foot in the ground so we dont fall over.

Agonist- the muscles work in pairs e.g biceps and triceps. When throwing the ball, the biceps contract to generate power for the actual throwing motion of the ball.
Antagonist- one muscle relaxes to allow movement for the other muscle. E.g. throwing the cricket ball.
Synergist- this is needed to create balance. E.g the shoulder of the opposite arm to the throwing arm is keeping you in as still a standing motion as possible to make it easier to throw the ball.
